At Yesspet Pet Care, exceptional pet care is our foundation — and mindful Enrichment is the thoughtful, next-level approach that truly sets us apart.
Enrichment simply means providing pets with opportunities to engage their minds, bodies, and natural instincts in meaningful ways. It goes beyond basic care; it's about enhancing their well-being and adding joy to their daily lives.
We follow the Five Pillars of Enrichment, tailored to every pet:
Sensory
Taps into a pet's five senses to create a more engaging and comforting environment.

Through our specialized training, we focus on the Five Pillars of Enrichment — for both dogs and cats — using our huge, varied, and ever-changing inventory of puzzles, toys, and games to create a well-rounded experience tailored to each pet's unique personality and needs.
How We Apply It
Enrichment is included in all Pet Care Visits of 30 minutes or more, and is a big part of our Premium Tuck-In, Overnight, and Live-In services.
We now offer specialized Enrichment Visits of 45–50 minutes, available in packages of 5 visits.
Social
For dogs, this often means encouraging safe, friendly interaction with other dogs and humans to build confidence and companionship. For cats, it's consistent, gentle human interaction that allows engagement on their terms. These moments strengthen the human-animal bond and support emotional well-being.
Sensory
Dogs may enjoy calming music, scent-based "sniffy" walks, or new textures and tastes. Cats often respond well to botanicals like catnip or silvervine. Visual and auditory stimulation also keep pets engaged and emotionally balanced.
Occupational
Dogs benefit from purposeful play — fetch, puzzle games, training, and even dog sports. Cats thrive on interactive toys and games that mimic hunting. Giving pets something to "do" channels energy productively and reduces boredom.
Physical
Rotating toys, ramps, and changes in environment support dogs' need for movement. Cats appreciate thoughtfully arranged spaces with essential resources for resting, playing, eating, and toileting. A well-planned environment supports comfort and engagement.
Nutritional
We transform mealtime into mental enrichment using puzzle feeders, lick mats, and scatter feeding. For dogs, this may include frozen treats. For cats, it means hiding food to simulate hunting. These techniques slow eating, reduce boredom, and encourage instinctive behaviors.

Enrichment puzzles, games, and activities are a part of any Yesspet Pet Care Visit of 30 minutes or more. Clients love seeing their pets engage and play in new and different ways — and often become devotees themselves!
We provide our own curated tools and are happy to recommend items to help you build your own Enrichment stockpile.

We check in on your pet during the day — feeding, cleanup, play, and love, including enrichment toys and puzzles to keep them mentally stimulated. Services available 6am–7pm.

Tuck-In Package
Perfect for pets who don't need full overnights but benefit from a little extra love and structure. Package includes a 90-minute visit between 7–10 PM and a breakfast visit the next morning. The evening visit includes dinner and calming activities to ensure your pets are relaxed and happy for the night.

How do I get started with Yesspet Pet Care?+
Submit a service request and we'll follow up to determine availability. You'll create your profile in our scheduling software, Pawsitively Precise, then schedule a New Client Consultation ($30) at your home. Minimum first booking: 5 Pet Care Visits (may include Tuck-In), 2 Overnight Visits, or 2 Live-In Visits. No minimums apply after the first schedule.
What services are provided during visits?+
Potty breaks / litter box cleaning, feeding & fresh water, medication (if requested), cuddles, playtime, enrichment, bringing in mail/packages, lights and blinds adjustment. Complimentary on request: watering indoor plants and trash bin placement on trash day. A link to your Pet Care Journal is sent after each visit.
Can friends or family stop by while you're pet sitting?+
To maintain safety and accountability, we ask that no one else enters your home during scheduled visits. If someone else needs to visit (e.g. cleaners), we must have advance notice.
How do you communicate while pet sitting?+
All updates are shared through our secure online client portal — journals, photos, and messages. You'll receive an alert after each visit is completed.
What happens when I get home?+
Please notify us once you return. If we don't hear from you within 24 hours of your scheduled return, we'll follow up to ensure your pet is still being cared for.
What are your business hours & service area?+
Office hours: Mon–Sun 6 AM – 7 PM. Pet sitting check-in hours: 5 AM – 7 PM. Tuck-In, Overnight, and Live-In visits are custom scheduled. We service Ahwatukee and nearby zip codes 85044, 85045, 85048, with limited availability in surrounding areas.
Are pet sitting visits scheduled at specific times?+
We provide time blocks for flexibility — Morning 6–9am (summers from 5am), MidMorning 9–11am, Midday 11am–2pm, MidAfternoon 2–4pm, Evening 4–7pm. Tuck-In, Overnight, and Live-In visits are custom scheduled. We do our best to honor time preferences but cannot guarantee exact times.
What are your rates and payment policies?+
Up-to-date rates are listed on our website. We require 1/2 payment as non-refundable deposit at booking, with the remaining balance due on or before the day service begins. Full policy is available during onboarding and via your client portal.
