About the Pawsitive Pets Sitter - and that extra "s"
An end to a beginning....
A broken heart led to me to my petsitting calling. After my wonderful companion of 15 years, Cami (my only foster fail, pictured here), passed last August, I returned to fostering rescue puppies. I realized my passion and love for caring for pets was what made me- and them- truly happy! I can't replace Cami, but started The Pawsitive Pets Sitter to provide loving, premium care to pets in my community.
My background and experience includes lifelong pet ownership (including dogs, cats, rabbits, horses, and sugar gliders), along with a decade of involvement in the AKC Labrador Show and Hunting Retriever world, and years of fostering with the Humane Society and The Farm Rescue. As a Certified Maricopa County 4-H Leader, I helped kids with horse and dog projects. As a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) I was fully background checked, polygraphed and fingerprinted. I am Ahwatukee's first and only Certified Fear Free Petsitting Professional*. I'm Pet CPR and First Aid trained, and am constantly continuing my animal behavior/training/petsitting education.
That extra "s" in my name (The Pawsitive PetS Sitter) and in my website (yesSpets.com) stands for that extra Special Service I bring to my clients.
